Since the ASOS Brigade hasn’t updated significantly in something like a week (horrors!), we thought we’d fill in the dearth of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya news by presenting to you the official Haruhi Suzumiya hand-puppet. Swagmakers from the Good Smile Company have created the puppet, which looks more or less like a UFO catcher doll with a hole for your hand. It retails for ¥3000 (USD $25).

Perhaps even more amusing than the puppet itself is the video on the company’s official website, in which Haruhi has a hard time picking stuff up. And we all know how patient our melancholy Haruhi is. • gia
