I offer three main services: article writing, copy writing, and proofreading/editing. I also offer some amount of graphic design, generally for newsletters. Read on for descriptions and rates for each service-- but note that the rates are negotiable based on factors like due date, amount of research, etc.

• Freelance Writing
  $15/hour or $0.15/word - I will research and write an article for your print or web publication. This includes feature articles, news articles, columns, editorials, etc. I can also acquire art or photos for the article as necessary.
• Copy Writing
  $12/hour or $0.12/word - In addition to writing copy, I can also write and design newsletters for print or web. In particular I have a great deal of experience writing e-newsletters for retail campaigns. The client will need to supply information and art for their product(s).
• Editing/Proofreading
  $10/hour or $0.10/word for "full service" - "Full service" editing means that I look at your document as a whole and edit for clarity and completeness as well as grammar and spelling. I can also proofread a document just for grammar and spelling; my going rate for this service is $8.50/hour or $0.09/word-- minimum 500 words. Word count is based on the number of words in the original document, prior to editing.
